Sarasota
The exhibition reached Sarasota in March 2004 and the city welcomed "Coexistence" with activities for people of all ages, workshops, meetings and discussions. The opening was held under the patronage and in the presence of the Mayor who was very involved in all aspects of the project and made special efforts to bring this message to his entire community. The broad coalition of support for "Coexistence" in Sarasota was overwhelming and very moving. During the display of the exhibition in town, lecture series were held on a wide range of local issues by artists, writers and thinkers.
